Day 1. Bodrum

Embarkation in Bodrum Harbor around 4 pm with welcome meeting and introduction to the crew. Cruise to a nearby bay for swimming, snorkeling and overnight.

Day 2. Knidos

Early departure to Knidos, a famous ancient Carian town, where Aphrodite ruled. You can explore the remains of this ancient city, including an impressive amphitheater. Excavation of the site is still going on. The town, renowned for its history as much as for its geography and boasting an attractive landscape, used to have two ports. the small bay was the military harbor of Knidos, whereas the ancient geographer and historian Strabon from central Anatolia once wrote that 20 ships moored here simultaneously. Ample time for swimming, exploring the site, hiking to the lighthouse, etc. Evening in Knidos.

Day 3. Palamut Buku - Datca

The first stop on the Datca Peninsula after Knidos is Palamut Buku. Rounding Divan Burnu, you will enter the harbor of Palamut Buku, just in front of the island of Palamut. Ruins of the Dorian sanctuary, the Triopium, are located nearby. On the way to Datça cruise to Gok Liman or Kargi bay for swimming. Continue towards the charming little harbor town of Datça for walking around or shopping in this pleasant quiet harbor. The inland “old Datça” village, a few km from the harbor, is well worth a walk through its paved narrow streets winding their way around old stone houses. Overnight in Datça harbor or a bay close by.

Day 4. Selimiye

Cruise to the wide Ciftlik Koyu, Dislici Island or Bencik bay for swimming. It is a great pleasure to experience these bays and inlets and all their blue and green hues. The history of this gulf is truly captivating. The cities here were all under the control of ‘Rhodes Peraia’ and all those living here were considered to be Rhodians. Cruise through stunning pine enclosed bays to the charming little village of Selimiye. There is a small islet inside this bay, which was known in ancient times as ‘Sinos Skoenos’ (Kamışlı Koyu). On the islet is a structure that could have been a tower of lighthouse, as well as a castle on the mountain behind the bay. Documents indicate that that this site was the ancient town of Hyda. Here, you will come across some wall remnants and next to these is a square-plan monument tomb. Evening in Selimiye or Dirsek Bükü.

Day 5. Bozukkale - Serce

Cruise through the striking, stark islands of Hisaronu on one side and the Anatolian mainland on the other. View the transition in scenery from pine forests and rocky coastal islands. Lunch at Bozukkale Bay - ancient Loryma, where Athenian ships utilized this sheltered harbor as a base during the Peloponnesian Wars (431-404 B.C.), and Demetrius assembled his great fleet in 305 B.C. before attacking Rhodes. Bozukkale Harbor maintained its importance throughout the Byzantine Period as a Byzantine naval base and armory, whereas warship maintenance was carried out in this shipyard. If you wish you can climb up to see the castle situated at the end of the cape. Measuring 27.4 m wide by 320 m long, and surrounded by fortification walls 2.44 m in thickness, this long, narrow castle was erected to protect the bay. The ancient city of Loryma is situated on the hill to the east of the bay. If you have time and are interested in history, it will take you about an hour to hike up the hill, and you can wander around this ancient city. Evening at Serçe, famous for being a refuge for boats from severe weather and home to one of the greatest shipwrecks found in Turkey.

Day 6. Ekincik - Dalyan

Cruise to Ekincik for a not to be missed engaging tour (optional) of ancient Lycia, one of the highlights of a Blue Cruise. Embark upon a flat bottomed, local riverboat to visit the environmentally protected Dalyan Delta wetlands, with their beautiful tall reeds and diverse wildlife. Continue on to the ruins of Caunos, including the extravagant Lycian tombs carved directly into the cliff sides. Continue up the river and indulge in the famous mineral mud baths reputed to bring a rosy glow to the skin. On the return, visit Iztuzu beach, home to the Caretta Caretta loggerhead turtles. Evening in Ekincik Bay.

Day 7. Kadirga Bay

After breakfast, cruise to Kadirga Bay where we will spend some time swimming, surfing and snorkeling. Sail on to Myra Island, and for a last dive into the clear water of outer Marmaris Bay, to Paradise Island. Evening in Marmaris harbor or a bay nearby.

Day 8. Marmaris

Breakfast and disembarkation in Marmaris by 10:00 a.m.
